Our process begins with dry cleaning soiled articles in 140-degree Flash point petroleum-based Stoddard solvent. The articles are then transferred to solvent reclaimers to be dried and deoderized. The dirty solvent produced from the dry cleaning process is distilled so that it can be reused along with the clean solvent reclaimed during drying. The oil, grease and other waste extracted from the distillation process is pumped from the bottom of our stills into hazardous waste totes. We utilize the services of a nationally known waste disposal company to transport and dispose of the waste by high temperature incineration at an EPA permitted waste site. We receive a certificate of destruction, chain of custody documents and waste profiles from each shipment. This process greatly reduces your cradle to grave exposure to waste disposal liability by keeping this material out of landfills and sanitary sewers.
